| | Please help identify this spider We recently went to our caravan near Bournemouth and had this bright green little spider as a guest during our stay, I've tried to find out what type of spider it may be but so far no luck, it was quite small, body length only approx 5mm. Picture found below.
Any help would be most appreciated |

It's the not so common Green Crab Spider Diaea dorsata ( scientific name).
Take care, Jason |

Take care, Jason | Agree with the ID, but have found it fairly common, especially when beating Holly in woods. |

I've yet to find one, despite living in the 'extreme south'. |

I've yet to find one, despite living in the 'extreme south'. | Maybe more common in the south-east? We've certainly regularly found it on London Natural History Society field trips around London. |
