hey there
just a quick one, i was clearing out the garage earlier and squashed a woodlouse spider. well, ive just searched around and the descriptions and pictures fit the bill!
about 5/10 minutes after i sqaushed it, i put my hand on the piece of wood and got the legs or whatever on my hand.
my question is, would this still be dangerous? or am i just being over paranoid....i did hit the wood with my hand pretty hard!

quick note: i have no puncture wounds on my palm! but i have 2 small (one smaller than the other) red marks under the skin...weird! |

cheers everyone! | The Woodlouse spider - Dysdera crocata is not 'dangerous' as such, though it is capable of biting. Venom would be injected thru' the fangs during a bite and so contact with the legs would cause no ill effects.
