And it was found in the south. |

When they do this they often sit in that possition and occasionally lift there front legs up and expose the fangs. | Yes I'm familiar with the aggressive stance sometimes shown by this species, I've collected dozens on vists to Plymouth, Looe and numerous places on the south coast and also in Bath city centre and still have a large female from 4 years ago living in my garden. The pedipalps and mouthparts of the one in the picture are far from raised though, they are actually in the water droplets on the switch!
