| | | Re: Where can I find dysdera crocata(woodlouse hunter) Welcome to WAB . I found a nice specimen last week in the back garden after I'd been doing some jet-washing on the patio. Piles of old bricks can be good and I've found them many times in coastal areas on rock faces by the beach under plant roots or tufts of grass growing on the rocks.
The only other red spiders we have are considerably smaller. Don't pick one up with your hands if you find one - they can and do bite!

| | | Re: Where can I find dysdera crocata(woodlouse hunter) They're a spider I find infrequently and they'd be difficult to keep in captive conditions I would imagine. I'll bear it in mind if I come across one in the near future.
