| | | Clubiona help I'm sure this is a Clubiona, at very least part of the Gnaphosidae group. Approx 9-10mm in size, I would like to identify species if possible. Taken in Bristol |

| | | Re: Clubiona help From those photos, I would think that 'Yes, possibly' is the best answer.
Were there visible spinners which aren't shown in those photos?
It certainly does have the look of Drassodes or Haplodrassus species which would match the size.
Now that I have made the first move, perhaps somebody more experienced will comment. |

| | | Re: Clubiona help I dont believe it had visible spinners. Drassodes seems a good match, but I am not an expert at all |

| | | Re: Clubiona help Having just zoomed in max on the image I can see the eyes. They are arranged as a Drassodes, so halfway there! Thanks guys |

| | | Re: Clubiona help Scratch that, they are more like Haplodrassus. Also they lack the dorsal spines on leg VI that are present in Drassodes! Phew, getting there | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
