Amaurobius ferox?
Hi.
Could anyone confirm that this spider is Amaurobius ferox?



Length approx 15mm

Habitat was a South facing drystone wall, built from limestone. There are a lot of small to medium sized gaps betwen the stones, and the wall is well stocked with vegetation. There are a great many spiders in this wall, Amarobius, Tegenaria, lots of linyphiids, Steatoda, Araneus... It also has a few red ant nests and assorted unidentified (only glimpsed briefly) small rodents. Makes for an interesting walk to school with the kids.

This is in Torpoint, Cornwall, just across the river from Plymouth.
