[ID] Colourful crab spider
Afternoon all,

I saw this today, a Crab Spider - and suffice to say I've never seen one on the 'Net or in reality like it. Found on a kind of scrubby wasteland environ, on a Speedwell bush where it was quite active. I temporarily caught it to guarantee a shot, then released it. 5mm grid.

It almost looks like a cut-and-shut! I assume it's distinctive. Any help appreciated, and thank you for reading!

Hi Jason, it's distinctive indeed. This is a male Misumena vatia, which looks quite different from the female.
