Black spider with brown socks

Size: ~4mm

On fence separating mixed broadleaf and conifers from meadow.

Help with identification appreciated as always:

A Zelotes species is a likely candidate looking at the carapace and leg colouring. I'll have to read up or investigate further to suggest which ones.
Also Drassylus species have similar leg colouration, though not sure on carapace shape.
Either way it's a good find as they are very elusive species.

Yes it's the first time I've come across this species - for sure.

Having taken a good look round the web I think you have just have to be right with Zelotes and for my money it looks as if Zelotes latreillei is a likely contender.
