| | | White spider id I am terrified of spiders and I have the strangest I have ever seen in my bedroom.. it is white blends with the colour of the wall. It is large about the size of a small tangerine.. it seems to be all legs.. it is slow walking until I try to see it properly then it runs like mad.. it only comes out at night.. the only real way to describe it is it's like a skeleton .. My family think I am dreaming it... but I am not.PLEASE HELP ME... |

| | | Re: White spider id Does it look something like this:
They are quite harmless and sometimes spin violently when disturbed. They are quite voracious and as can be seen in the picture eat other bigger spiders!
Pholcus phalaginoides - the cellar spider (it is found in cellars and garages as well as sometimes inside.)
Dave.

| | | Re: White spider id Evening Jane, and welcome to WAB!
If you see it regularly, please post a photograph of it - I would have agreed with Dave's suggestion, the skeleton-look ( the face viewed head-on), infamously long-legged and very well-known in residential settings. To get further an image would really help - I can't think of any other possibilities off-hand
Take care, Jason
