Crab spider for identification.

Identification is definitely not my forte, however following so soon on the heels of Geoff's recent post I feel confident enough to make a stab at Philodromus sp. (male or female). At least I'm confident I've got the gender right .

Yes, it's another Philodromus; looks female but could be juvenile male.

I assume your comments re. gender are based on the size and shape of the pedipalps- or are there other anatomical differences between the sexes?

Hi Bruce,

In this case my conclusions were purely based on the pedipalps. Other differences may be (adult) size and colour/pattern.
