Hi,
can anyone help me identify this spider? Invertebrates - Nick Burton Photography- powered by SmugMug
We cannot find it in our spider guide! The photo was taken at Wisby Nature Park in May 2009.

It looks like some form of Pisauridae, where and when did you find it ?, and how big was it, measure from palps to spinnerets ... |

It was pretty big (as big as any spider I ever saw in the UK), maybe 25mm.
It was at Wisby Nature Park last May. Quote:

Looks to be Pisaura mirabilis - the Nursery Web spider. She appears to be gravid, hence the large abdomen.
