| | Spider Nests Question On the outside of the house, when looking from inside, I can see lots and lots of spider nests along the tops of each window, well actually attached to the frames, in the 90 degree angle where the glass meets the frame. Are these old nests from earlier in the year, or do spiders have active nests this time of year. I can't work out how to find out without interfering with one, which seems a shame. They make the windows look 'grotty' from inside, but I wouldn't dream of cleaning them off if they are in fact active. Also I cant have the windows cleaned very well, that's OK with me if they are active, but if they are not I'd like to have a clean up. How can I find out?..Thankyou. ,Posie |

| | | Re: Spider Nests Question You probably have a mixture of both old discarded webs and newer ones. If I were you I'd sweep them all away. Any spiders in residence will soon build new ones which will be hardly noticeable, plus you'll have got rid of the older unused ones.
