| | | Re: Jumping spider ID It's a pity - we get them now and again, they're less jumpy than Salticus sp (zebra jumping spiders) but still enjoyable (and 'cute'.)

They are rather cute. I rather liked this ones grey 'moustache' something I hadn't seen on the zebra jumping spider |

| | | Re: Jumping spider ID This is one of those species that are spreading northwards at quite a rate it appears. Though most sightings of it will be on house walls or sometimes indoors as with Salticus scenicus, Pseudeuophrys lanigera from most reports tends to be most predominant on slate roofs. I wrote a short article for the BAS Spider Recording Scheme some 6 or 7 years ago having found it in good numbers on my own roof in Llandudno. Due to its habitat it's probably very under-recorded.
