| | | Nerien sp ? I have been trying to get a match for this Spider, i`m thinking along the lines of Neriene(sp), its not N. clathrata i dont think, although it looks similar the palps are different .

| | | Re: Nerien sp ? I think you can rule out N. clathrata, it doesn't have annulated legs, like this one has (N. montana is the only Neriene species that does).
Actually the size rules out clathrata, as well as a lot of other Linyphiids.
N. montana is one of the larger species (up to 7.5mm).
I don't know about Drapetisca alteranda, does it occur in the UK? |

Personally I think you're dealing with N.montana - though closer shots of the palps would help
I'm thinking Drapetisca alteranda is an alternate name for Drapetisca socialis
