Its body greatly smaller then the pound coin and a pound coin is only 21mm in diameter so we can concluded that this spider is definitely under 20mm.

I agree its definately smaller than the pound coin, although if the coin is 21mm it must be around the 15mm mark? BTW, it wasn't the one in the pic that i was saying was over 20 mm. So the bigger one i guess to be 25mm roughly, i've been off work for 4 weeks so when i get back i'll see if i can get a pic.
