| | | Spider ID required I have seen a spider in my garden with a body about half an inch in diameter, reddish-pink in colour with a white cross on it's back. Any ideas anyone? |

It sounds like the variable Garden Orb Weaver. The scientific name is Araneus diadematus - are you into that?
