| | | White Cross Spider ID please My garden seems to be overrun with a light brown variety of spider which tend to weave webs in the most awkward places i.e across paths.
The most striking feature of the spiders is that they have a fairly distinct white cross on the back of their body. Guess they tend to be between 5-10mm across the body. Got a very fuzzy photo but so far have been unable to identify.

| | | Re: White Cross Spider ID please Sounds very like Araneus diadematus, Garden spider.
Also White Cross prams were made in Guiseley, Nr. Leeds until comparatively recently.
