spider ID no pics- sorry

Hi I'm a new memeber and was wondering if someone could help?

I found a spider in long grass near where i live it was around 3-4 cm long pale yellow/orange with black face. sorry i didnt get time to get any pictures of it. i am thinking possibly a juvenile grass spider but cant find any pictures to confirm this can anyone help at all?

That's asking quite a lot

Can you describe more about it? Did it have any pattern / markings? Was the abdomen long and thin or round and fat? Was it sitting on a vertical web or was it running through the grass? Habitat-wise was it in a garden, roadside verge, woodland edge/ride, meadow, downland, heath?
