| | Spider ID Saw this spider today on gorse in a woodland clearing,I know very little about spiders ,so hopefully from this rather soft shot in a glass tube,somebody will be able to tale me what it is,it looks distinctive,thanks.Jason  |

| | | Re: Spider ID Sorry thats the best my compact can do  , Im getting a macro lens in the next few days ,could it be Gibbaranea or something else can you narrow it down, for the moment it looks as though Im going to work this one out.I have the Spiders of Britain and Europe ,by Michael J.Roberts,any tips on how to seperate species similar to the one in my photo No.9,as Im a bit baffled by the book at the moment.This Spider is about 3-4mm to give you some idea of the scale.Thanks Jason |
