unknown spider found in shed

I found this spider hidden under my strimmer.it was not very big (about 2 to 3cm )but because of its fat legs and the markings on its back have not been able to find out what it is.I live in the north east of england and spent the last 3 hours looking at pictures of uk spiders and not seen anything like it.

could anyone please tell me what type it is and a few things about it please.

It is not easy to ID spiders to species level from a photo, but it is one from the genus Amaurobius. These spiders do not spin an orb web but produce fuzzy silk from the cribellum, a sort of many outlet spinneret. They comb out this silk with a comb like part of the rear legs called the calamistrum. They are very common, but the degree of patterning is very variable.
