It looks like a Linyphiidae member to me, similar to one I posted yesterday, with the dark/golden yellow legs with prominant hairs. Any chance of a dorsal, top-down, shot per chance - or indeed any others that may help? That may gets us further.

Oops - sorry for the repetition, I did have a quick look in the Gallery and the posts to see if there was anything similar but must have missed your post  I shall attempt a better picture |

| | | Re: Spider with purple(?) stripe for ID please I agree with Venger; I think Meta sp. (or more correctly: Metellina) is more likely. The sternum of A. diadematus is lighter and hairier. Metellina has the dark band across its abdomen like this one has.
The most common Lyniphiids don't hang in their webs vertically like this one seems to be doing. |
