Orb Web Spider ID

Hi, First post. Be gentle
I saw a spider a while back, no pics so I'll describe.
It was on its web, it's body length was no more than 8mm, It's abdomen was roughly a squat diamond shape and "mint" green. The head and thorax(?) were brown
What drew my attention was a vertical line of plant debris attached to the web. Much like the silk pattern of a Wasp Spider's web
I work outdoors in the countryside and I've not seen a web or spider like that before. The location was Lustleigh, Devon.

Hi, To add more info about the web...Built in a lowland Dartmoor garden adjacent to and downwind of oak woodland.
The web appeared brand new (it was early morning) undamaged and no other large debris in the web other than those in the verticle line. I could see some finer strands of silk holding the peices flat and in close postion.
The spider itself was in the middle of it's web with about 1.5" line of debris top and bottom.
Any ideas?

Hi there. I am a bit of a novice myself, but thought maybe you could try Araniella curcurbitina? It is almost identical to A.opisthographa I might add
