I was watching, with camera, this spider(Araneus diadematus) on its web across the outbuilding door (luckily painted white).
I was hoping it would catch a fly and it darn well did!! Fascinating. It was too quick on the actually pounce to capture in camera. Then it very patiently cocooned it before starting to munch. It must have been hungry as it didn't save it for later
