Four spot?
Hi all. Found this little guy outside my house. Im 99% sure its an Araneus but I have other pics of male A.diadematus and they look very different, so was wondering if this is a mal A.quadratus?

Afternoon Seb,

I believe this is just another variable form of Araneus diadematus.The long legs back this up, at least in my experience of them!

Hi Jason. thanks. The othe pics i have of male A.diadematus appear as extremely slim versions of the female. The reason I queried this one is because it is very dissimilar to a female A.diadematus

Just got home and low and behold there was my spider plain as day, exhibiting his white cross. Good going Jason!
