| | | Spider I.D. please Okay I haven't got a photo. Those of you who have seen some of my photos will know why. This spider is too small for me to even attempt a photo.
It looks like a green orb weaver. It is about 4mm long, yellow and has 5 dots down either side of its body. It has an egg sac which looks like a tiny ball of blue tac and it is sitting on top.
I found this on the inside of my wheelie bin. Presumably it was in my garden amongst the weeds before I tidied up. |

| | | Re: Spider I.D. please Thought I would give you an update on my spider. As it was on the inside of my wheelie bin lid I didn't think it was very safe so I brought it inside in a childrens bug box.
I supplied it with the odd fly which it attached to the egg sac. 6 Days later the spiderlings appeared.
I found it fascinating to watch. They have all been returned to the garden.
P.S. My daughter has just come home from work and asked me if I will look after her friends tarantula for a week in October. I have said yes providing I have full instructions as I have never had a tarantula before. My husband is not too keen though | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
