Can anyone help with this spider, it was seen in the Forest of Dean along their Sculptor Trail. Although the images does not show it well, it was it's striking orange colour that caught our attention.
Any help would be grateful, I have looked through the image galleries but can not see one that matches the image.

The abdominal markings can be very variable, Andy. The 'classic' version is a mid brown but they can be pale yellow to almost black, with all shades in between.
The rather similar A. quadratus can be equally variable. |

Many thanks for sorting this out for me, non of the images in the Gallery matched the one we saw. The colour made it so striking.
