| |  Scorpion myth?
There's a myth that if you put a drop of an acholic beverage on a scorpion it will go crazy and sting it's self to death. I am not saying I have, or ever will do this, nor do I think it would be acceptable in any circumstance. Just kinda curious.
Is it true?  |

No it's not true but it does make them aggressive. In he middle east they have Scorpion fights and large bets are placed on the outome, or other alcohol is often poured on them before the fight.

The article doesnt advocate doing anything nasty to the scorpion - it gives details of its behaviour, origins etc. and some of the myths surrounding them, so yes it is interesting. |
