lazy A. Diadematus

Hi,
I recently befriended with a nice european garden spider, but since 2 days she seems very lazy, she doesn't even build her web, and she just rests. Why's that? when I touch her she becomes quite active though. Could it be she's about to molt?

sounds like you could be right there!

I'd leave her alone if I were you, let her do her thing.

Yeah I left her alone these days

She disappeared for a couple of days, I thought something bad happened to her.. but yesterday a "new" spider appeared in the garden, almost double the size and more hairy, brighter colored.. I believe it's her in her new form!

And she's not lazy at all, she built a much stronger web and seems to move much faster than before! Lovely spider ^^
I'll leave her alone for a couple of days more just to make sure the exoskeleton is hard enough, and to gain courage to play with her again, she looks huge now ^^;;
