False widow?

Hi!

Recently I've found a number of spiders like this in the house. On Sunday I thought I'd find out what it is, I think it's a false widow. Today I found another one, bigger than all the others I've seen.
Is this a false widow too?

Hi there,
It looks very much like a False Widow to me. We have a few here in West London and they seem to be doing well.

I personally think it looks like a Zygiella x-notata, (missing sector spider) but i aint no expert but i was told that mine which is very much like yours is 1 sooo,

It is a very good example of a Steatoda Nobilis - aslo known as a false widow

They do look similiar but the pattern on the back is different.... also the one pictured here is in a 'Cob Web' whislt the other spins an 'Orb Web'
