False Widow Spider in Somerset

Hi, i'm new here and thought I would share the spider I found in my conservatory yesterday.

I had her identified as a female False Widow - Steatoda nobilis by a very kind person.

I believe she came to us through our veg box delivery, but I walked right into her as she made her way down to the floor.

hmmmm.....well, uploaded the photos twice apparently successfully but cannot find them

I also found a couple of Steatoda nobilis' about the same time as you (second week of August) and I live in Somerset as well. I was really interested in the Fleur-de-lis pattern on one of them though it would be nice to have them formally confirmed as nobilis (if that's what they are).

We also have several Steatoda bipunctata's making up home in the house.

Never really noticed them before.
