| | Can anyone identify this spider, please help i recently found this spider on the outside of my window, its web kept gettign detroys by the wind, so i took it and put it o0n the inside of my window, since then ive been a real mother treying to help it and stuff, i got a old fish tank and filled it with sand and bark, made it a retreat out of a hlaf burried jar, and it seems to like it, but of course it will soon need feeding so i need someone to identify this spider to help me choose a suitable bug to drop into the tank, thanks for any help

Yes, I agree - it's a Walnut Orb-weaver spider |

| | | Re: Can anyone identify this spider, please help Its nocturnal and likes tight fitting areas to hide and its an orb weaver so any flying insects will do.

| | | Re: Can anyone identify this spider, please help the only problem is when i drop a bug in a tank with a lid i need to take the lid off, and the spider keeps crawling up the seel of the tank, and get up onto the lid and making its webs adn stuff so i can open the lid with the spider on it becuase it starts crawling out, is there any kind of material i could line down the seel lof the tank to make it too slippy for spiders to climb?
I coudnt upload a picture of the tank is woudnt let me so i used photobucket instead hope this isnt against the rules, http://s594.photobucket.com/albums/t...2.jpg&newest=1 http://s594.photobucket.com/albums/t...3.jpg&newest=1
As you can see there is sealing in each corner of the tank which they climb up, its making the feeding process difficult
thanks
