| | | Unknown eggs on reed sweet-grass Can anyone help me identify these? It was suggested they might be spider egg sacs - maybe a Tetragnatha sp?
They were found on Reed sweet-grass, early last month. Would appreciate any help! |

| | | Re: Unknown eggs on reed sweet-grass I doubt they're spider egg sacs, nothing like any I've seen before anyway aprticularly colour wise. If you look at the leaf in the background there appears to have been a similar egg sac that's had the silk removed, leaving a pupae of some sort?
No.9 Spider

| | | Re: Unknown eggs on reed sweet-grass I've been trying to find info about Tetragnatha egg sacks, but I can't
All I can find is two short descriptions: "mouldy appearance" and "resembling bird droppings". |
