| | | ID on this peckish spider, please? Meadow brown OK for supper, dear?? Can anyone name this spider for me ? I'm thinking it's a Common old garden Spider.

| | | Re: ID on this peckish spider, please? Well to start with, I would suggest the butterfly is actually a Gatekeeper. The black wing eye has 2 'pupils'; only one for Meadow Brown.
The spider could well be a Garden Spider but it is difficult to tell from that angle, you really need a top down view. It's web certainly looks as though it could be one of the Araneidae family | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
