| | | Harvestman having breakfast This is the first time that I have ever seen any of the Opiliones actually eating anything. I'm assuming that it found the fly already dead; and judging by the bits of spider silk around, it probably dropped out of a nearby web. 
Leiobunum rotundum female I think, and dish of the day is probably a hoverfly. |

| | | Re: Harvestman having breakfast I have lots of these in my garden, and they will just about eat anything, i put all kinds of little tit-bits out near my backdoor, and after a while they come scuttling up, i find one good attractant is bread soaked in a mild honey solution.
One ammusing thing i found that attracted them is finger nail clippings, i put them in a planter, and they come along and run off with them  ... |
