| | | all black spider identification please My husband has found a black and shiny spider in our attic in Somerset. It does not have any hairs on its legs and the legs are thinner at the ends. It has a very round body and may have very faint cream stripy marks on its underside. On top it is simply black and shiny. Any suggestions as to what it is? We can't find it in any books but thought that it may be a false widow.
TIA,
