| | | Re: Please help i.d glossy black spider Thank you, we had looked online but still had no idea.
Having read a bit about them now we don't want to get bitten
I want to reclaim my shed from the crawlies and junk, what can I do with her? I would normally just sweep the spiders out but I don't want her to go venturing into the house.
Thanks for any further help
Just to add, I am possibly moving my ferrets into the shed, could this spider be a problem for them? (if it IS a biter)

| | | Re: Please help i.d glossy black spider They would probably like to live in and around your Ferret hut or Rabbit hutch, they like places such as that because of the amount of flying insects that are attracted to them ... |

| | | Re: Please help i.d glossy black spider Relax, they're not interested in your ferrets (or you for that matter) - just put her back where you found her - she'll do a good job clearing up and insect problem you have.
They only bite in self defence (just treat her with the same respect you give to wasps or bees and you'll be fine.)
