A little something I found in the garage that may be of interest - quite disgusting - I love it!!

Despite their flimsy appearance these Daddy-longlegs Spiders, Pholcus phalangoides are voracious predators; always have some in residence!

There are a fair few of the little critters in the garage, and one or two in the house too! It's the first time I've observed a spider capturing another spider. The victim is almost certainly Tegenaria sp. which to me looks like it should be able to overcome Pholcus, I wish I'd have seen the struggle! She certainly won't have to eat for a while after that meal!

There was also another female clutching her eggs, but she disappeared before I could get the camera out!
