| | | does anyone know what this tiny little spider is please? Hi
Its not a great photo but the spider is so small its the best I can do. It is in the top corner of the window inside my lounge. It looks brown and yello but in the photo you cant see the yellow so well. The size of the head and body combined cant be much more than 4mm. Is this a tiny little spider or a baby one? Any ideas please? We are in the SW.
Many thanks. |

| | | Re: does anyone know what this tiny little spider is please? 4 mm is about average size for the majority of adult spiders and there aren't that many over 10mm.
Being inside does narrow down the possibilities a bit and while there are some Theridiidae species which might fit I would suggest first checking out Zygiella x-notata as it is frequently found in similar conditions. Colours can vary a little bit and, generally, males are smaller than females. | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
