| | | I need help, I wont go back into my house I found a spider by front door. Infact it was under a towel i had left there to stop the draft. Its was about the size of 1 and half 10p's all brown suede lookin, a very large raised bum. Smallish legs, what could it be. I have not seen one like this before, I wont go home because there could be more. I am so scared of spiders
pls advice |

| | | re: I need help, I wont go back into my house Without a photograph there's little chance of telling which of our 650 species it might be. There are no species in the UK that you have to be particularly bothered about, and at the end of the day spiders are everywhere like it or not. Just ignore them, they're really not interested in us.
No.9 Spider

| | | Re: I need help, I wont go back into my house It looks like the Common House Spider - Tegenaria gigantea/domestica but I could be wrong. Check the web for info on it Jenny.
