I am very much against interference, but this would seem to be an excellent situation for taking the best in question and observing it in captivity. Yer Spid is doomed, but can function for long enough to bring the parasite to maturity, even if you have to give it some prey insects. The parasite can then be identified, or at least recorded, and you will add someting to a filed of observations that needs more data.
