Spider ID needed


Thanks for your help, I own zero spiddy books for ID (as I hate spiddys).

It's a male Araniella spp (either A.cucurbitina or A.opisthographa) you can't tell which from a photo.

That is one gorgeously coloured spider!

Venger, how can such a creature successfully camauflage itself whilst having such diversely different coloured body parts?

Hides under leaves
It's an orb weaver not a 'hunting spider' or an 'ambush predator'.
