Crab spider ID please

Hi

can anyone give me an ID on this crab spider (Misumena vatia is my best guess), found today on some ivy. Body ~3mm

I've checked my books, (I'm not good enough to do it from memory yet!), and it does look like Misumena vatia. I saw one of these myself years ago, also white.

Do you have any other shots for it? Front on shots would be good.

This is about as close to front on as I got but poor quality I'm afraid.

NBN Gateway shows no records of M. vatia for this county so could be a bit of a rarity locally if thats what it is (or I'm using NBN wrong

)

Worth passing the record to the BAS Spider Recording Scheme Area Recorder, not sure who that is without some digging about, someone else may know but if not let me know and I'll find out.

I thought these were great until they started taking my bees. I have at least three in the garden and I reckon they are eating at least a bee each every day (and they are very fat as a result).
