| | | Re: Jumping spider help Thanks for that. I always used to go for S.scenicus until I read the forum about S.zebraneus and that made me question all my pics lol |

| | | Re: Jumping spider help Salticus zebraneus is quite rare in Britain, though you also have Salticus cingulatus which is also similar to S. scenicus and much more common than Salticus zebraneus!

| | | Re: Jumping spider help lol, o hyeh that was the other one that kept popping up. The pics I saw of S.zebraneus were quite dissimilar to S.senicus I felt, but on the forums many people get them confused . Its all a big confusion to me |

Sorry Seb!
This is one of the offenders...
...I really thought I'd found a good one here! For a juvenile male S. scenicus, it has huge pedis, a slim abdomen bigger than the thorax and the right markings on the head. The tip of the front legs to the tip of the back was about c 8mm.
Well, that's my reasoning for the mistake!

| | | Re: Jumping spider help Hi Jason, good to see you are still WABBing it. S.scenicus have always fascinated me, they are by far one of the most enjoyable to watch. I know its a pain deciding if they are s.scenicus or not, but I would love to find a S.zebraneus |
