This chappy startled me when I was rummaging in the shed - I suspect it is just a House Spider but it dosn't have any markings on the top of its abdomen which I thought a HS has, so I was wondering ............  |

Just a rough guess Cheryl, but could it be a Mouse spider - Scotophaeus blackwalli? |

Proportionally it doesn't look quite right for Scotophaeus, which is rather stockier. I wonder if it could be another gnaphosid such as Drassodes |

I think it is a Clubiona.
Clubiona terrestris, maybe?? |

Hard to say, you don't have any other pictures of it do you?
Could be Clubiona spp, (but it could be 10 other species Ian - visually they are very alike.)
More photos and size (excluding legs would help)
