| | Possible Steatoda ? Hi folks,
Over at fowlmead I took this pic, I think it's S. Bipunctata, it's a male, and the abdomen shows the sigilum and the palps are quite big , hardly any body markings though, (Why is this)  so there is doubt in my mind, can you confirm or am I wrong with the ID

Yes looks like a Philodromus spp, a running crab spider.

I'll settle for Philodromus , and Venger, I had thought about crab spider but chose the other route

You'll need to study the palps to see, Philodromus spp can be very similar to each other, physically and visually.
