| | Spider ID please Hi uys,
I am not sure of this one, it's a female, lives in a teracotta wall mounted pot, the hole it lives in, is 7mm dia, and she is 7mm head and body, I think it's Steatoda, Heavily anulated legs, very pale edges to the thorax, but not sure which,
I'm thinking S. albomaculata, but would appreciate some help
Cheers,
Duncan |

| | | Re: Spider ID please Hi No9,
Your first impression was right, Zygiella -X-notata it is
I couldn't see the wood for the trees, as they say, it was the lack of patern on the body that threw me
Instead of trying to ID off the books, I would do better to look in my own spider pics first,
Thanks for your help in pointing me in the right direction,
Duncan
