| | | Re: Clubiona (sp) Just going by my book, not personal experience, check out C. comta and C. diversa which is a little bit smaller. Also consider C. subtilis but we are under 5 mm now.
The trouble with this species is that there are so many versions which look identical in photos and the description says 'Uniformally reddish brown with slightly darker cardiac mark'. There are 12 other possibilites listed under this general description and in the 5-7mm size. |

| | | Re: Clubiona (sp) Yes your right, there are so many similar ones, which would make it hard to ID with any confidence.
There seems to be no abdominal markings with this one, so i might rule out C.compta. There are a few images in the link below, one which i caught last year, i think. • View topic - Clubonia comta
I thought the habitat might help, but none of the ones in my books list any that would reside in a door-jam.
I think it may as well stay as Clubiona(sp) ... |

| | | Re: Clubiona (sp) C. corticalis is recorded around houses but I'm not convinced by the colour.
Just out of interest, I have had a quick browse through that German site to see if anything looks possible. I have only selected those which look reasonably like your image including size, appear in Spring and can be found in drier places.
The result is C. reclusa or C. terrestris.
More a bit of fun than a confirmed ID.
