| | | Very pale Steatoda species? When I bought in my moth trap today, I noticed a very pale 'widow-shaped' spider under the dome of my trap.
It was not any of the ones that I would associate with the Steatoda species and one that I had not seen before.
I'm sure that Venger will tell me exactly which spider this is!!!
It was like a very pale cross between a 'Daddy-long-legs and a Steatoda grossa'?!!

| | | Re: Very pale Steatoda species? Sorry Venger, I did not have my camera to hand at that time.
It's legs were about a 2" spread and it's body was quite small but hung down in the typical Steatoda species stance.
I truly do notice this species now but have never noticed this one before?
It was quite lovely in appearance!
