| | | Zygiella x- nototata male ? Guessing this is a male Zygiella x-nototata simply because it was hanging around close to a female one. About 2.5mm body length.
Anyone confirm ?

| | | Re: Zygiella x- nototata male ? It's certainly a possibility from what you say though I can't say I'm familiar with males of this species. It's a very early male for this species, isn't Z. atrica, and looks as though it's just moulted to maturity which doesn't help with i.d.

| | | Re: Zygiella x- nototata male ? Try Theridion tinctum (or Keijia tincta) They're both the same thing. Zygiella x-notata males have dark palps (or a dark tarsus)
