a spider knicked my lighter

course it didnt really ... I used it as a size comparison .. but I reckon it could have walked off with it

I found it in the back of an old pigeon loft I was dismantling, wondering, what kind of spider please ?

Think a Tegenaria sp possibly. Looks jolly well fed too!

Judging by it's size, it could have walked off with the lighter and smoked your fags.

I don't mind them and have had one or two in the house over the years. They are very quick on their feet too and run like the clappers.
